Wall of Shame

Here is the Truthology WALL OF SHAME.  A compilation of the 10 fattest self portraits I could find!

Looking at these photos gives me mixed emotions.  One one hand, I’m sad that I waited so long to take my health seriously.  On the other hand, I am very happy that I finally made the transformation.  And overall, these photos serve as motivation to continue my journey down the right path.

Never in my wildest dreams did I think I would publish on the internet a collection of my 10 all-time fattest photographs.  All I can say is that I would not be doing this if I had any doubt in my mind that those unwanted pounds will ever return.  Eating REAL FOOD has changed my life forever!!

It was on September 29, 2010 that I decided to finally and permanently change my life.  Keeping off the weight is now effortless, as I decide (one meal at a time) to eat REAL FOOD at every meal.

I welcome you to join me on this journey!!

  1. Thanks for sharing! I too am disappointed that I waited so long to take my health seriously, but then again, some people never make that change, huh?

Sometimes it does take a while before it sinks in, and when it does it truly is a life changer. Diet is one thing but exercise also helps a lot. ^_^

    • Yep! It took me more than 37 years to get a clue. Glad it finally sunk in though. My thoughts on exercise are that it’s great for the heart and mind. As for weight loss and maintenance, I believe it’s all in what you eat. Read my article entitled “100/0 Ratio”. Thanks so much for your comment!

  3. Wow Robert!!!! What an absolutely friggin amazing transformation! Congratulations! I really enjoyed reading through your page and especially liked your courage to put up this “Wall of Shame.” I am on a similar transformation – one that will eventually be including my nutrition and exercise. I hope you feel comfortable enough to shed some light my way when I am going on my journey!

    • Thank you Angela!! I appreciate your kind words. I read some of your early pieces and really like the premise of your blog. I was particularly moved by the quote you posted from Judy Garland. Definitely get in touch with me anytime you want to discuss nutrition!!
